Robert graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law in 2024. While in law school, Robert was a research assistant for a professor whose research focused on anti-corruption law and international development issues. In 2023, Robert co-authored a whitepaper for Transparency International Canada about the possibility of introducing a ‘failure to prevent corruption’ offence in Canada. Robert was called to the bar in 2025 and was hired as an associate after his articling term.
Before law school, Robert earned a Master’s degree from Western University in Theory and Criticism (2021) and a Combined Honours Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Studies and English from the University of King’s College, Halifax (2018).
In his spare time, Robert attends weekly trivia nights, reads fiction, and plays guitar.
