Biography

Dora Konomi is a dedicated litigator with a passion for delivering practical, client-focused solutions in civil litigation. She has a particular interest in commercial litigation, including construction disputes, fraud, debt enforcement, and condominium law. Dora’s strategic approach and commitment to excellence have earned her a strong reputation for effectively representing clients in complex matters. Unsurprisingly, Dora loves strategizing and preparing for upcoming “courtroom battles.”

Since being called to the Ontario Bar, Dora has gained significant experience advocating for clients in various disputes, including construction liens, shareholder issues, and fraud cases. She has represented clients across industries, from construction and financial institutions to condominium corporations, bringing her deep understanding of legal and business complexities to every case.

Dora also leverages her technical expertise to enhance her practice, spearheading innovative uses of technology to improve efficiency and outcomes. Her leadership in establishing virtual litigation processes is a testament to her forward-thinking approach.

Fluent in English, French, Greek, and Albanian, Dora’s multicultural background enhances her ability to connect with diverse clients. An active member of the Greek Canadian community, Dora is deeply involved in cultural and professional organizations, hosting fundraising events and contributing to numerous initiatives that celebrate her heritage. Dora is also an award-winning radio host and hosts a weekly radio show.

Dora is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of lawyers, and in this spirit, she is introducing the “Mentorship Hour with Dora”, a program offering students and young lawyers the opportunity to gain insights and guidance on career development and legal practice.
