Debasmita is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. During law school, she was an active member of the South Asian Law Students’ Association and co-created Ex Curia, a magazine for law students. She also gained experience as a Legal Intern at the Senate of Canada. Prior to law school, Debasmita earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Sociology, and Economics from the University of Toronto.
Outside of work, Debasmita enjoys reading, caring for animals, and is currently learning how to play tennis.
