“The best legal strategy is one that aligns with a client’s objectives, not simply the litigation itself.”
Carole is an experienced civil and commercial litigator whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, business disputes, real estate and property litigation, construction disputes, commercial lease matters, and commercial arbitration. She represents individuals, businesses, professionals, developers, and property owners through every stage of the dispute resolution process, providing strategic advice from the outset of a dispute through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
Carole began her career at a leading Bay Street litigation firm, where she developed a strong foundation in civil litigation. She later expanded her practice to include commercial agreements, corporate matters, and real estate transactions before founding and operating her own law practice. This breadth of experience provides her with a practical understanding of the legal, business, and financial considerations that influence her clients’ decisions and allows her to deliver strategic, commercially focused advice.
Known for her practical approach, responsiveness, and sound judgment, Carole works closely with her clients to understand their objectives and develop effective litigation strategies tailored to their needs. Whether advocating before the courts or resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution, she is committed to achieving practical and cost-effective outcomes.
Carole is dedicated to mentoring junior lawyers and law students and regularly volunteers with organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, Lawyers Feed the Hungry, and local dog rescue organizations.
Outside of her practice, Carole enjoys exploring Toronto’s cultural and culinary scene, spending time with family and friends, and staying active outdoors. She is an avid hiker, cyclist, kayaker, and stand-up paddleboarder, and enjoys exploring the landscapes and waters of Georgian Bay with her rescue dog, Charlie.
